I took the train from a nearby town to Teruel for a short while, so I was looking for a hotel near the station (train station) so I wouldn't have to drag my suitcase too far in the heat. Hotel Reina Cristina was selected for price, reviews and location. There were no disappointments - I strongly recommend this hotel for accommodation. If you go to the hotel from the railway station, I recommend using the elevator instead of dragging your luggage down the stairs (the elevator is to the left of the stairs). When checking in, we were upgraded from an ordinary double room to a Suite with a balcony. The room is huge - 50 m2, one room is zoned to 3 parts: a bedroom with a large TV, a pair of chairs with a table, a large sofa with TV. The bathroom is also quite large: it consists of a separate bathtub and a full-size shower cabin, it is worth noting that most of the tubes with gels and shampoos are not in sight, and removed into drawers. The furniture in the room is stylish. However, even with all the lamps on, the room is a bit dark. The room overlooked the square with the famous city landmark <staircase>. The balcony is very small and one can only stand up and admire the surroundings. WiFi in the room was good. Breakfast is quite acceptable. On display are precooked omelets, boiled eggs, bacon, cheese and meat cuts (including jamon), a variety of fruits, juices. Coffee in the coffee-machine is not tasty.
Coffee for breakfast. Ambiguous answer to the question of late check-out. It's a little dark in the room - you need to add some light.

The stay in this great modern hotel was really really nice and we would come here again. We have booked guest room with good facilities. The excellent and amazing location was extremely close to Plaza del Torico. The bus stop was 5 minutes’ walk away🙂

Great rooms with a terrace to relax on. the price was $96, which was pretty good. the location was awesome, right by the town center and everything we needed. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the nearby a la carte restaurant 🍽️.

The best thing about the hotel, the situation of the hotel.. Personal treatment except for the restaurant.
Mattresses of 1. 90, views from the room to the inner courtyard. room was next to the emergency stairs and we imagined that next to the room where the cleaning material is kept. First thing in the morning, there was no one to sleep. the worst thing, hotel restaurant. We sat down at the bar of the hotel with the intention of having a snack, we ordered a couple of wines and menu, what is our surprise when they serve us the wines and tell us that at the bar they do not serve rations. We ask to sit at one of the various tables they have available and they tell us that without a reservation it is not possible. It was our turn to drink the wine by the glass and get our lives back on track for dinner. most curious thing is that those tables that were free were not occupied throughout the night. Thank you very much, gentlemen.

We have been clients in La Vaquilla for many years and renovation is spectacular, treatment is great as always.
There is a detail that I did not like: we always like to eat on the terrace, then have a few drinks quietly, we asked for coffee and glass was served in plastic, detail in a never, never had happened to us, prices of accommodation and food are not like to put plastic... I think there are no excuses and that serves them not to happen again.... they could tell me that it is La Vaquilla... why the rest of the food is served in glass and coffee and glasses are not? they could tell me that there were many people and glasses were sold out... four star hotel has to be prepared for such parties and if they are not washed by hand and served as God commands, at the table seeing the client what is served, is not a tavern. I hope this will correct your mistake.

location is almost perfect. close to the famous Plaza del. "torico". It doesn't take five minutes to get to the center of the city. From the terrace of my room you can see almost all the Teruel. outside the old town (the old part). Paseo del. Ovalo is an almost pedestrian area with some bar-restaurants to. eat at an affordable price, more or less (14 to 15 euros the menu). We stayed. with the desire to try the Guadalaviar (it was closed in those days) that. had recommended it to us. instead we made the great. discovery of the restaurant La Torre at the foot of the Torre de. Santiago, with a very interesting quality/price ratio. It is worth visiting the Cathedral and tomb of the lovers of Teruel (Diego and Isabel), different Mudejar towers of the city. simply. to take a walk by it and to enjoy its mudejar and houses of modernist style that sprinkle the historical center of the villa.
For the type of menu that gave (simple) most bars. restaurants gave the food very little care and not always at the right temperature (eating a hot dish almost cold or some meats. almost cold when they should be freshly cooked, does not seem right to me). In the Hotel, what surprised me most is that being a 4 star not. change the sheets daily (they made the bed with the sheets of the. previous day without changing them). This in a pension can be forgiven but. in a 4 or 5 stars, I think not.

The hotel was in a fabulous position but the room was so noisy and the ac did not work. The breakfast was much too expensive for what you got and not value for money. The whole hotel seemed to be on skeleton staff ' in fact when you did see the bar man he was about 80!

We loved our stay at Reina Cristina. The hotel is conveniently located near the main attractions of Teruel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with decent mattresses. The view from the superior rooms on the 4th floor, especially those with a terrace, was stunning. We enjoyed relaxing on the sunbathing chairs on the terrace. The staff, particularly Mario at reception, were incredibly helpful and spoke excellent English. Their recommendations for restaurants and places to visit were spot on. The meals, especially with half board, were excellent with great presentation. we had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again.
All good 😊

Staff friendly, close to the centre for Teruel, nice evening meal, clean rooms.
Breakfast not too good. No air conditioning and unable to open windows because rooms on the road side of the hotel very noisy due to traffic late at night and early in the morning.

Recently refurbished and clean place, LOVELY view of the mountains. Location close to places for coffee and the historic centre and restaurants are-ideal for the summer setting sun.
